Camel Ride (At your discretion): No trip to Egypt would be complete without a ride on a “ship of the desert”, and so you will have an opportunity to mount your individual camel for a short ride across the desert of Giza. The Sphinx: Enter the temple of the mysterious Sphinx which embodies the body of a lion and head of a king. To get to the sphinx you will walk through the only preserved valley temple in the area meant to be the spot for mummification process in ancient Egypt. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before heading to the NMEC. The Civilizations Museum is the newest museum in Cairo which houses artifacts that narrate the Egyptian history from the Pre-dynastic period till Modern time. It differs from any other museum as the pieces are arranged in a specific way where each showcase tells you a story. The main goal of it share knowledge and to offer international visitors richer and deeper insight into the meaning of Egyptian culture through the ages. This is done through the thematic arrangement of the showcases inside. Each showcase tells us a message about specific topic like Agriculture, Motherhood, Musical Instruments, Royal Insignia, Servants and so on.
